Rev. Dr. Robert Hatfield

is Senior Minister of First Church of Lombard United Church of Christ, having served in that capacity since 1989. He also serves on the Governing Council of Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital and has chaired the boards of LOVE Christian Clearinghouse and Teen Parent Connection of Greater DuPage. His ministry has focused on the development of partnerships focused on serving the often invisible poor in the suburbs, including partnerships with the local elementary school district, the Northern Illinois Food Bank, DuPage P.A.D.S., and other groups. He was among the co-founders of the Walk-In Ministry of Lombard and Villa Park and of First Things First, an Infant Needs Outreach Ministry.
