Ms. M. Michelle Day, Esq., M.Div, is President and CEO of In Order Enterprises, L.L.C.  In this capacity, she combines her faith-based experience and over 20 years of national and international labor and employment law experience to assist organizations in restoring balanced working relationships. She is a certified mediator, Chief Hearing Officer for the Chicago Human Resources Board and a member of the American Evaluation Association. She currently serves as an independent mediator for the Chicago Commission on Human Relations, program evaluator for the Illinois Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation and a former member of the Urban CPE Education Committee. She has actively served as a community organizer for Trinity United Church of Christ, serving as vice-chair of the Justice Watch Team and co-founding the Micah Legal Ministry (a social justice ministry of legal professionals) of Trinity United Church of Christ. Prior to obtaining her Master’s in Divinity, she completed field work with the Community Renewal Society, including the training for organizers.  Ms. Day also holds a minor in journalism from Indiana University and worked on newspapers in Ohio and Indiana for many years. She is experienced in providing training in not for profit board governance, serving from 1991-2001 with the Martin Luther King Center of the Boy’s and Girl’s Club, and providing advice and counsel to other Boards.
